Line-shaped laser beam used for aligning prostheses or ortheses. Housing adjustable horizontally and laser beam rotatable (with angle scale). Laser beam is visible even in daylight. A second line laser can be swivelled vertically and horizontally. The laser can be charged using a battery charger. It can also be mounted on a stand. It can also be used with an alignment apparatus. The laser beam is aligned using an angle measurement system.

Areas of application

Prosthetics 

  • Projection of plumb line during prosthetic alignment and plaster casting
  • Control of knee joint axes
  • Control of the level position of the pelvis
  • Determination of flexion/extension as well as abduction/adduction angles

 

Diagnosis 

  • Measurement and demonstration of body positions and posture problems (e.g. lateral deviation in the case of scoliosis, knock-knee position)
  • Measurement of lateral shifting of the foot in relation to the hip joint and of the lower-leg angle in relation to the plumb line in the case of varus/valgus (up to 10 cm). Documentation before – after.

  • Lower laser with vertically projected line, can be horizontally turned by approx. ±9°
